ABOUT:

Coachella is an annual multi-day music and arts festival set in the beautiful Palm Desert area of California. The Festival sits on the grounds of the Empire Polo Fields which offers a pristine setting for the on-site camping festival. Unlike many other festivals, Coachella offers free showers in the camping areas. Camping consists mainly of car camping although there are some areas designated tents only that are free of cars. RV Camping is allowed. You can also reserve camping gear that will be set up and ready for you when you arrive that includes a tent, sleeping bags, pillows, and blankets. For those who are looking for luxury, there are also safari tents available which include air conditioning, restrooms and showers, golf cart service, some meals, and more.

New in 2012, Coachella will take place over 2 weekends with two identical festivals a week apart. Both weekends will offer virtually the same musical lineup giving fans two chances at getting tickets to the highly popular festival. Organizers are hoping the new schedule and ticketing system will put more tickets in the hands of fans and less in those of scalpers.
