Wakarusa is a 4-day music and camping festival set on Mulberry Mountain in the beautiful Ozark National Forest of Arkansas. The festival offers multiple on-site camping and ticket options. The festival site features multiple stages, tents, a general store, and multiple vending areas. Festival activities include balloon rides, daily yoga, disc golf, fishing, hiking trails. Float trips and kayaking is available through local outfitters. The festival moved to Arkansas in 2009 after 5 years in Lawrence, KS. Artists that have appeared at the festival since 2004 include: Widespread Panic, The Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, STS9, Les Claypool, The Flaming Lips, Wilco, The String Cheese Incident, OAR, Ben Harper, and Keller Williams.
