Do yourself a favor and get some ear plugs. According to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, sound levels of 80 dB or higher are potentially hazardous. Concerts can reach levels up to 150 dB which can cause permanent damage with prolonged exposure. According to the OSHS standard, a person can be exposed to a 95 dB environment for 4 hours before risking hearing damage. Over the course of a multi-day festival, it is possible to suffer irreversible damages due to overexposure to loud music. Protect yourself.

Earplugs range from the simple foam plugs to high fidelity musicians ear plugs that are custom made from a mold of your inner ear. While most ear plugs do a good job of reducing the decibel level, the differences are in the quality of the plug and comfort of fit. Some plugs will muffle the sound. others are made to reduce the volume without sacrificing sound quality. While there are many differences in style and price of the numerous ear plugs available, there is no denying that some protection is better than no protection. Your ears will thank you.

Hearos High Fidelity Series, 1-Pair

Highly Recommended!!

I have been using these ear plugs for some time now and really like them. It takes some getting used to if you have never worn ear plugs in the past. But once you get the hang of how to put them in they are very comfortable. The sound quality is great, quieting but not muffling. Highly recommended!
